Senior Infrastructure Engineer

What you do

Senior Infrastructure engineer is responsible for engineering and maintenance on Centric hosted environments for Centric customers. Located in Equinix data centres in Netherlands, Centric infrastructure is aimed to be the platform of choice for customers looking for operational stability, resilient and process aware environments.
 
Senior Infrastructure engineer will act as a member of Infrastructure Operations team, supporting standalone and hybrid Windows infrastructure using ServiceNow ITSM tooling in combination with SCOM monitoring and SCCM configuration management solutions combined with Microsoft Cloud services such as M365.
Candidate will have to display a strong understanding of Infrastructure components such as hardware, networking, Windows OS and generic application support principles. Senior level Engineer is also responsible for improvements design, approval and implementation. He will also be engaged into P1 incident resolution and problem management.

What you bring to the team

• 5 years of relevant experience in designing, troubleshooting, and administering Windows based solutions including high-availability clusters and hybrid deployments.
• Advanced automation skills with PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with hardware components (servers, storage, networking).
• Experience on designing and implementing using monitoring tools such as SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds.
• Working experience on virtualization platforms (VmWare VCenter, Hyper-V). Strong ITIL knowledge.
• SCCM administrative skills.
• Experience with enterprise grade backup solutions such as CommVault, Zerto, etc.
• Microsoft Azure public cloud knowledge.
• Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.

• The salary for this position starts from €4000 to €5500 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
